Memorial Day Weekend in Longville

Kick off the summer fun in Longville! We have a weekend packed full of events and ways to honor the military personnel who have died while serving.

Saturday, around the Longvillle area the Sherman A. Yocham VFW Post 772 will be hosting their Memorial Day Poppy Drive.

Sunday, the Memorial Day Service willl be held at the Longville Fire Hall at 9:30am. This event is open to the public. Presented by the Sherman A. Yocchum VFW Posst 772, there will be a keynote address and music by the Longville Community Choir. Contact Dennis Zaske 218-363-3239 for more information.

Thursday:

Open House Wine and Cheese 4pm-6pm Location: Gallery of New Creations. Stop by downtown longville, shop, drink wine, and have a blast. Hosted by the Longville Lakes Arts Alliance and the Galllery of New Creations.
Organized Chaos 7pm at the Docksider

Saturday:

Book Sale: 10am-2pm at the Margaret Welch Memorial Library in Longville.
Bake Sale: 10am-2pm Downtown longville. Hosed by the Young-At-Heart Club.
Kickoff Summer Sidewalk Sale: 10am-4pm at Lazy Days
McLions Hamburger Day: 11am-GONE. Serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and water in the Docksider Parking Lot. hosted by the Longville Lions.
