Joel and his wife, Amy, first discovered Longville while traveling full-time in their fifth-wheel camper. In early 2022, they purchased property in the area—and it wasn’t long before the charm of the community and the beauty of the Northwoods convinced them to put down roots. The following year, they built their own home from the ground up. That experience lit a spark for Joel, ultimately inspiring him to pursue his passion for construction as a full-time career.

Today, True North Construction Services offers a full range of residential construction services—from custom homes, remodels, and additions to specialty carpentry projects. Joel is not only the project manager on site; he’s also the one rolling up his sleeves.
